Academic performance is conceptualized in various ways, for example, the level of knowledge or performance demonstrated in an area or subject compared to the age norm and academic level.
However, there are several variables that affect performance and lead to academic failures, such as socioeconomic factors, the breadth of the study program, teaching methodologies, study skills, individual performance, learning, emotional intelligence, and more.
